The New York State Amber Alert for a mother who abducted her two young children was canceled just before 9 a.m. on Monday.
The 2-year-old and 2-month-old girls have been located and are safe, state police said. No other details were immediately released.
The mother reportedly abducted the girls after an argument with her husband early Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police.

A New York State Amber Alert has been activated after the abduction of two young girls in Jericho in Nassau County on Long Island.
The children were taken around 6:45 a.m., authorities said.
The suspect in the abduction is a 31-yea-rold Asian female named Sun Shin, who is about 5-foot-4 and 115 pounds with straight, brown hair and brown eyes.
She is believed to be driving a white 4-door 2015 Honda Accord with NY license plate number HCR1560 with her two young children.
Promise Lee, a 2-month-old, is approximately 18 inches tall and weighs around 15 pounds while Love Lee, a 2-year-old girl, is about 2-feet tall and 30 pounds with straight black hair and brown eyes.
The children were taken under circumstances that lead the police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious physical harm and/or death. Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the Nassau County Police Department at (866)N Y S-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
