North White Plains Woman Reports Overdose

A Washington Avenue woman told the North Castle Police Thursday that her boyfriend was having an overdose in her North White Plains home. A Valhalla ambulance responded and transported the man to White Plains Hospital.

A caller told police he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on North Broadway and Reservoir Road in North White Plains on Tuesday and was experiencing neck and back injuries.

On Friday, a caller reported an instance of possible child abuse in North Castle. The man said there were scratches on his daughter's back. Police met with the man at the local emergency room and the Department of Children and Family in Connecticut was notified.

A caller at Nichols Road in Armonk reported a deer leg on her property, which she believed was placed by a former employee who has been placing dead animal parts on her property since 2010 "to curse the family" with "witch practice." The police report stated that "nothing was observed that indicated witch craft practices or any kind of criminal activity. The deer leg appeared to be half eaten and could have been left behind by any indigenous animal, predator or scavenger."
