Skies will remain cloudy on Wednesday with an 80 percent chance of snow. High temperatures will be around 37 degrees so little or no accumulation is expected.
Snow showers will change over to rain on Thursday with the highs once again around 37, but wind gusts could make it feel much cooler. Chance of rain and snow is 40 percent.
The storm finally begins to exit the area on Friday with a chance of a lingering shower or two in the morning before becoming partly sunny.
Rainfall totals exceeded 2 inches throughout most of Westchester county. Here is a look at the totals, according to the National Weather Service:
- Somers: 2.64
- White Plains Airport: 2.55
- Peekskill: 1.34
