Several accidents caused delays late Sunday afternoon in the area.
A 4:30 p.m. multi-vehicle crash and subsequent car fire on southbound 9A was reported in Hawthorne.
An earlier multi-vehicle crash blocked two lanes on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in the Bronx near the Westchester border.
The accident, at Co-Op City (Exit 5), caused stop-and-go delays to Exit 3. It was reported at 4:15 p.m.
An accident blocked the right lane of the southbound Taconic State Parkway at Bear Mountain Road in Peekskill, causing stop-and-go delays. It was reported at 5:50 p.m.
