A store employee told lohud.com that this was not the first time Cyrus has been in the store.
According to her website, Cyrus said she will be starring alongside Elaine May and Woody Allen in Allen’s first television series for Amazon TV. Allen has been working since early March on the project at Briarcliff Manor, Daily Voice reported earlier this week.
The pop star, who began her career on Disney's television series "Hannah Montana" in 2006, grew up in Tennessee with her famous father Billy Ray Cyrus, who also starred in the show.
Her website, mileycyrus.com, said she was recently honored by DoSomething.Org for her Happy Hippie Foundation that encourages young people to “fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBTQ youth, and other vulnerable populations.” In addition, she was the face of MAC's VIVA GLAM and helped MAC Aids Fund raise some $400 million, and is working as an advisor on "The Voice," on NBC, said the website.
She released her first album in 2007 and has gone on to release five albums and star in more than 10 movies.
