Parts of the Lower Hudson Valley received between half an inch to one inch of snow from late Sunday night through the pre-dawn hours.

Scattered snow showers are a possibility during the morning on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The National Weather Service estimates chances of precipitation are between 20 and 30 percent.

Temps will be bitterly cold, as the high on Monday is expected to be between 25 and 28 degrees with wind chills making it feel like it's between 10 and 20 degrees. Overnight will see temps dip to around 15.

As the clouds and snow showers clear out on Tuesday, temps will stay frigid. While it will be sunny on Tuesday, winds will kick up in the range of 20-25 mph, ensuring the thermometer won't get out of the 20s.

The rest of the week will be sunny and not as windy, as both Wednesday and Thursday will feature sun and daytime temps in the 30s.

More snow could be on the way Friday night into Saturday.
