Man Saved In Apparent Attempt To Jump From Tappan Zee Bridge

A state trooper talked a man out of an apparent suicide attempt on the Tappan Zee Bridge on Saturday morning, according to a report in lohud.com.

Trooper Andrea Wilson responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the south side of the bridge about 6:45 a.m. and found a man about to jump off, lohud reported. 

Wilson was able to persuade the man not to jump after talking with him for about a half-hour, according to lohud.
