Mailbox In Armonk Apparently Destroyed by Driver

 ARMONK, N.Y. – A caller reported to the North Castle Police Department that an unknown person had struck his mailbox and destroyed it overnight between Saturday October, 8 and Sunday October, 9.

Police Officer Thomas Tallent responded and stated that someone apparently backed into the mailbox located at the bottom of the man’s driveway near the road at 4 Carpenter Way in Armonk.

Tallent reported the post of the mailbox was snapped in half and the caller said the value of the mailbox was approximately $400. The person who destroyed the mailbox remains unknown.
