Lanes Closed on I-684 in North Castle Friday

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. - The State of New York Department of Transportation alerted motorists that lane closures will occur on northbound Interstate 684 between Exit 2 (NY 120) and Exit 3 (NY 22) on Friday, March 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for construction purposes.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
