The social media giant released five new emoticons on Wednesday that can be found under the "Like" button: Love, "haha," wow, sad and angry.

The new emojis aren't intended to encapsulate the full range of human emotions, but rather to give users a way to express emotions in a more supportive way beyond the simple "like" button, according to USA Today. 

The new emojis could continue to drive engagement on a network that already boasts more than a billion users world-wide who access the site every day, USA Today reported.
