ID Released For 27-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train

A woman who was killed Thursday night after being struck by a Metro-North train in Westchester has been identified as Angelica Contessa, according to Aaron Donovan with the MTA.

The 27-year-old Contessa's last known address was in Brooklyn, Donovan said.

The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when a Grand Central Station-bound train - which was not in passenger service - hit Contessa just south of the Glenwood station in Yonkers, MTA Police said.

Donovan said the MTA Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
