Several multi-vehicle accidents late Wednesday afternoon slowed down area commuters.
A crash on I-287 caused delays on the westbound side at Exit 3.
An accident on I-95 resulted in backups after Exit 15 in New Rochelle.
A crash on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway resulted in delays in Dobbs Ferry at Exit 17.
Farther south, an accident occurred on the Hutchinson River Parkway on the Bronx/Westchester line on the Hutch drawbridge near Co-op City (Exit 5). Stop-and-go traffic was backed up to Pelham Parkway (Exit 3).
The accidents were reported after 4 p.m.
