Heightened Security In Place For Trump's Televised Westchester Speech

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Officials in Briarcliff Manor have announced traffic closures and security measures that will be in place starting several hours prior to Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump's speech from Trump National Westchester Golf Club in Briarcliff that is scheduled to be televised at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The Village of Briarcliff Manor advises motorists to expect delays in the hours leading up to and during Trump's visit.

The village announced the following traffic controls will be implemented at 5 p.m.:

  • The Dalmeny/Fountain/Scarborough Road entry on to Pine Road will be closed, however, exiting (westbound) will be permitted;
  • Pine Road entry and exit will only be permitted at Elm and Birch Roads;
  • There will be no parking on Pine Road.

Trump’s departure from Briarcliff Manor, all traffic and road controls will be lifted, the village said.
