Trader Joe’s has pulled store-brand packages of raw cashew pieces off its shelves after finding that they may have been contaminated with salmonella.

No illnesses have been reported to date, the grocery chain said Monday, Jan. 18.

There is one specific lot – the one with the barcode number 00505154 – that could be tainted, Trader Joe’s said. The package should be stamped “Best Before 07.17.2016TF4."

The product was distributed to Trader Joe’s stores in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and 27 other states. It was also distributed in Washington, D.C.

Customers were urged to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
