WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service scheduled to expire Saturday night has been extended until Sunday morning at 6 a.m. in Westchester County.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The rain has arrived in Westchester County and it’s just getting started.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch from 11 a.m. Saturday until late Saturday evening for all of Westchester County and southeast New York and all of Fairfield County and parts of southern Connecticut.
Rainfall amounts from 1½ to 2 inches are possible with locally higher amounts. Significant urban flooding with low-lying and poor-draining flooding is likely throughout Saturday. River and small stream flooding is also possible, and could linger after the rain ends.
Thunderstorms and patchy fog are possible after 11 a.m. Saturday. Winds will be between 10 and 15 miles per hour with gusts as high as close to 30 mph.
Rain should continue, with some interruptions possible in the early afternoon, through 11 p.m. Saturday. A chance of rain continues until 1 a.m. Sunday.
It will brighten on Sunday with sunny skies and a high between 42 and 54 degrees.
The outlook for Monday is mostly sunny and a high between 45 and 48.
