Dry Ice Available Sunday In White Plains And Yonkers

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Con Edison will distribute dry ice at two locations in Westchester County on Sunday.

The distribution will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 4:00 p.m. or until supplies run out.  The company will also have personnel at the locations to answer customers’ questions.

The locations are

  • Westchester County Center at 198 Central Ave. in White Plains
  • Yonkers Raceway - 810 Yonkers Ave. in Yonkers

Instructions for safe handling and disposal of dry ice are printed on the bag for residents who pick up dry ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be used only in well-ventilated areas. Keep children and pets safely away.
