An emergency hearing is planned next week and DraftKings said the company was assured no action would be taken until then, the article says. DraftKing's email to its players was Tweeted Nov. 17 and indicated play would continue in New York as always.

The AG’s office is trying to shut down both DraftKings and FanDuel, stating they run forms of online gambling, which is illegal in New York, according to the article. Both firms want their day in court.
