Traffic issues abound throughout the area Wednesday morning with slick roads and pockets of fog.
An accident involving a jackknifed tractor-trailer initially resulted in two lanes being blocked on northbound I-95 in New Rochelle at the North Avenue exit (Exit 16). The lanes have been cleared, but traffic remains slow through Exit 14 (Hutchinson River Parkway).
An accident on eastbound I-287, reported at 8 a.m., is causing delays at the I-684 interchange (Exit 9A).
There is stop-and-go traffic on the Tappan Zee Bridge span heading from Rockland into Westchester.
A 7:30 p.m. accident on westbound I-84 caused delays near the Connecticut-New York border at Route 121 (Exit 21) in North Salem.
An earlier crash on the southbound Bronx River Parkway in Scarsdale at Exit 10 (Harney Road/Swarthmore Road) caused delays to Ardsley Road (Exit 11).
