Several accidents caused delays in the area late Sunday afternoon.
An accident is blocking the right lane of the southbound Taconic State Parkway at Bear Mountain Road in Peekskill, causing stop-and-go delays. It was reported at 5:50 p.m.
A 4:45 p.m. accident on west-bound I-84 blocking the shoulder caused heavy delays at the I-684 interchange (Exit 20).
A 4:30 p.m. multi-vehicle crash and subsequent car fire on southbound 9A was reported in Hawthorne.
A multi-vehicle crash blocked two lanes on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in the Bronx near the Westchester border.
The accident, at Co-Op City (Exit 5), caused stop-and-go delays to Exit 3. It was reported at 4:15 p.m.
