ARMONK, N.Y. - A Blessing of the Nativity will be led by Rev. Joshua Condon of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Armonk Saturday Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at Wampus Brook Park.
The second annual blessing is open to the public with other clergy members possibly attending, according to Anita Cozza, an Armonk resident who worked with other residents to plan the event. She also donated the nativity scene that will be used for the service.
The nativity scene has been set up near the gazebo. "We had a small crowd last year because it was the first one and wasn't promoted," Cozza said. "We're hoping for a bigger turnout this year."
Refreshments will be served at St. Stephen's Church after the service.
