Armonk Offers Places To Shower, Recharge After Hurricane

ARMONK, N.Y. — Those with no power or water have two places to recharge and clean up in Armonk after Hurricane Sandy stormed through.

The Brynwood Country Club, at 568 Bedford Road, is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until further notice. The club will also allow residents to plug in and recharge their electronic devices and has food available for purchase.

In addition, the Hergenhan Recreation Center, at 40 Maple Ave., Armonk, will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily for showering, electricity, food and water.
