War veterans and North Castle residents will be remembering the fallen and celebrating the American military at the 2011 Memorial Day parade on Monday.
The parade steps off at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a ceremony that will include a moment of silence to remember lost war heroes and a cookout for stories to be shared.
Commander and ex-Marine Patrick Burke will be in attendance and is in charge of the event. He will be joined by town officials and war veterans from different military backgrounds.
