Light snow and flurries resulted in a slippery Friday morning commute as motorists had to contend with some slick roadways and several accidents were reported.

After a sunny start, Saturday will see increasing clouds with a high between 38 and 40.

Snow flurries and snow showers are possible overnight through daybreak. Little or no accumulation is expected. The most likely time frame for snow is between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday.

Temperatures will warm up to between 40 and 43 degrees Sunday as skies will gradually become sunny after a cloudy start to the day.

Temps will rise even more on Monday with a projected high of around 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies, signaling the start of a warmup trend next week that will see highs in the mid 60s starting on Tuesday.
