Alert That Included Hudson Valley Canceled For 24-Year-Old

The missing person alert issued for a 24-year-old area resident with autism has been canceled.

Public safety officials are asking for help in locating Dwight Rowe, a 24-year-old with autism who was last seen at his home on Silverpine Drive in the Suffolk County village of North Amityville at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

When last seen, Rowe was wearing a black T-shirt with an orange tank top underneath, camouflage colored shorts, slippers and was carrying a lunchbox.

Rowe is described as a black male, 5-foot 2-inches tall, 183 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
