Airbag Recall Is Largest Ever In Auto History

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Takata will almost double the size of the recall of faulty airbags, making this the biggest auto recall in history, money.cnn.com reports.

Takata airbags used in approximately 18 million vehicles have already been recalled, according to money.cnn.com.

The latest recall will raise that number to about 34 million vehicles, or about one of every seven automobiles on roads in the U.S. today, money.cnn.com reports.
