58 Ticketed For Speeding In July 4th Westchester Police Detail

A total of 58 motorists were ticketed for speeding in a New York State Police enforcement detail held on Tuesday on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester County.

The July 4th detail lasted six hours with a total of 82 tickets issued, including those cited for speeding, state police said.

Other citations included seven Move Over Law tickets, five seatbelt tickets, one child restraint ticket and 11 others.

One criminal arrest was made during the detail for unlawful possession of marijuana.
