ARMONK, N.Y. -- Armonk artist Philip Romano parked his car on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Wednesday and found it covered with graffiti. That's exactly what he hoped for.
The 20-year-old artist told The New York Daily News that he parks his 2004 Hyundai Elantra on the street and encourages passersby to draw on it with chalk that he provides. “It’s sort of a chameleon. You never know what it will look like,” Romano told the paper.
He told Fox 5 NY that he got the idea several years ago and that someone always writes "thank you".
Romano's license plate reads DrawOnMe.
