Based on the Jewish value of “healing the world,” Mitzvah Day will benefit local organizations such as Neighbors Link, A Home, The Cottage School, the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, My Sisters Place, and more.
There will be a wide choice of activities for participants of all ages, including cooking for a Thanksgiving dinner, making blankets, making pet toys, creating gift bags, and designing cards. New this year is a contest for all children to design a Mitzvah Day logo. Activities are open to the community and there is no charge for participation.
