Temple Shaaray Tefila Offers Free Faith Community Classes

BEDFORD CORNERS, N.Y. -- Want to learn more about Judaism in a comfortable community setting? Whether you are Jewish by birth, choice, or association the “Taste of Judaism” class at Temple Shaaray Tefila will help grow your personal knowledge and discover your roots. 

The classes will be held on May 18, 25, and June 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Temple and will be taught by Rabbi David Greenberg, the Temple’s senior rabbi. Topics to be covered include "Judaism: What I Never Learned,” “When My Child Asks About God,” and “Judaism/Christianity/Islam: Similarities and Differences.” Classes are free and all are welcome to attend.

“This is a great opportunity to learn about Judaism in a supportive community environment,” says Rabbi Greenberg. “Our doors are open to all who are interested including interfaith couples.”
