"The people are extremely nice, and I find the store has everything I need," Carolyne Geis of Yorktown told Daily Voice. "I like the buy one, get one free deals, their produce is good, and the location is convenient. And they kept some of the prior employees, which is a nice thing,"
"The store is well-stocked, the store is very clean, and the employees are very friendly," Judy Priore of Shrub Oak said. "They have games, the location is great. ... It's very convenient. And they have some good deals."
ACME has locations in Northern Westchester at the Triangle Center in Yorktown, Goldens Bridge Shopping Center and at 610 Columbus Ave. in Thornwood and in Putnam on Route 22 in Brewster.
Last year, ACME acquired 72 A&P locations after the latter was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, including stores in Yonkers, Bronxville, Rye, Eastchester, Greenburgh and New Rochelle.
Priore also liked that the store is spacious and well laid out, leaving shoppers room to maneuver in the wide aisles.
"It's not usually too crowded, and I like this store because it's convenient and quick," Bob Cohn of Yorktown said.
