Most Americans Stay True To New Year's Resolutions, Poll Reveals

Nearly two-thirds of Americans stay true to their New Year's resolutions, according to a Marist College poll.

According to a poll by Marist College, 64 percent of Americans stayed true to their word, or at least partially.

The poll also revealed just 39 percent of Americans are likely to make a resolution for 2016, a decrease from 44 percent last year.

Twelve percent of Americans making a New Year's resolution are committed to weight loss, while getting a better job is close behind at 10 percent. Nine percent resolve to exercise more, quit smoking or improve their overall health.
