The festival is from noon to 7 p.m., rain or shine. Visitors are invited to bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn.
This is the largest Hispanic community event of the year in Westchester, the county said. Now in its 31st year, this annual free event, which attracts up to 15,000 people, represents the cultures of 22 Spanish-speaking countries.
The county’s cultural heritage series kicked off in May and has since celebrated Asian-American, African-American, Italian, Irish and Polish heritages.
The series, made possible by a donation from the Friends of Westchester County Parks, schedule continues with:
• Jewish: Noon to 6 p.m. July 28 at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla • Indian: 12:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla
