Let them unwind at Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel, a new facility offering everything from state-of-the-art medical care to hotel “suites” featuring toddler beds, chandeliers and flat-screen TVs.
And Spot On, located in Westchester, makes house calls. A concierge program offers in-home wellness check-ups, vaccines, emergency visits and other services throughout Westchester, Rockland and Fairfield counties.
“We are excited to open our doors and bring our vision of a world-class animal care experience, unlike any other, to life by providing exceptional medical care and distinguished client service,” said Dr. Philip Putter, leader of the Spot On team. “We hope that the entire experience at Spot On breaks the mold of the traditional animal care model and encourages a new standard of pet care that caters to clients and their furry family members.”
Located at 184 Selleck St. in Stamford, the expansive 16,000-square-foot facility features both traditional and alternative medical services, as well as an all-suite hotel, doggie daycare, grooming, training and a pet chauffeur service.
The site will soon include an adoption center.
The entire facility was built with health, safety and the environment at the top of mind, using all environmentally friendly materials including 151 solar panels providing electricity for 90 percent of the facility. A led lighting system, green cleaning products, tempered windows and an advanced HVAC and air filtration system are also part of the Spot On vision.
Spot On offers six dedicated exam rooms and a digital dental specialty suite. Hotel accommodations range from modest to The Penthouse suites, which feature full-size toddler beds, chandeliers, in-suite flat-screen TVs and maid and linen service.
Upgrades can include group or private play dates, dog massages and even a bedtime story. Birthday parties are available.
Slated to open in January, the Spot On Adoption Center will make homeless pets right at home with glass-front suites and a communal living room for socialization and training.
