Summer is here, at least unofficially. What better way to slip into a simmering, summery state of mind than with Baja-style fare at Port Chesters breezy Bar Taco?
It will be the first official beach season for Bar Taco, created by Sasa Maur-Batuz and Andy Pforzheimer, the epicurean masterminds behind Barcelona group restaurants. And if this culinary duo knows anything, they know that its good food and good atmosphere that makes a dining spot truly satisfying.
Bar Taco, located at 1 Willett Ave., tempts with signature dishes like fish, spicy chorizo and tamarind beef tacos. And the grilled corn with lime, cayenne and cojita cheese is practically the definition of summer. Talk about delish! And if youre hanging on their whitewashed patio, why not wash down your tacos with one of their specialty cocktails like the Bar Taco margarita or mojito?
