The DGAC has said that residents should monitor cholesterol intake and limit it to 300mg per day since 1977, but they are prepared to drop that warning due to a lack of scientific evidence, The Verge reported.
The DGAC, which updates its dietary recommendations every five years, is now concerned with citizens' regular under-consumption of vital nutrients like Vitamin D, Vitamin E, potassium, calcium, and fiber, The Verge said.
