The Temple’s Sanctuary will be aglow with the candles from many menorahs, to be lit by congregants of all ages. The candle lighting service will be followed by a festive Hanukah party including potato pancakes, make your own dreidel treats, donuts, and a chocolate fountain.
“Hanukah celebrates not only a great historical miracle, but also the ability of Jewish ideals and values to endure,” states Rabbi David Greenberg. “We are grateful for everyone in our congregation and community who help us keep the flame burning.”
All are welcome and there the event is free.
