How Long in Business: 28 years, one year under ownership of Stamford resident (but born and bred Westchesterite) Mike Silano.
Known For: Among the ladies, their salad slice is hugely popular. They are also known for their chicken Scarpariello, sauteed chicken cooked with white wine and lemons atop a cooked crust and chicken Maria, made with chicken cutlet, cherry tomatoes and scallions. Everything is made in-house.
Most Popular Slice Sold: Regular.
Key to Success: "We make our own sauce as well as our own dough," explained Manager Armando Coyotl. The dough is made daily.
