The event will take place from 12 to 3 p.m. at the non-profit shelter, 23 Cox Ave.
The event will include a tour of the facility and an opportunity to "meet and greet its canine residents."
Adopt-A-Dog was founded in 1981 and has helped in the placement of more than 13,000 animals in Westchestester.
The shelter promotes a strong educational component to placement, which officials say is demonstrated in its 95 percent success rate.
