Hudson Valley residents are lining up to purchase tickets as New York’s two biggest lotteries’ jackpots continue to rise into the hundreds of millions of dollars.

The New York State Lottery’s Mega Millions jackpot has reached $346 million, with a drawing scheduled for 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. The Powerball has exceeded $300 million, with a drawing tomorrow.

According to the New York State Lottery, the odds of hitting the Mega Millions jackpot by matching all five numbers and the Mega Ball is is one-in-258,890,850. Second prize (matching five numbers) is good for a $1 million. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is one-in-292,201,201,338.
