Firefighters Close Stretch Of Busy Road Near Westchester Grocery Store (Developing)

Firefighters closed a stretch of a busy road in Northern Westchester.

The closure is in the area of the DeCicco Family Markets in Katonah on Bedford road.

The stretch of Bedford Road between Huntville Road and Harris Road near the DeCicco Family Markets is closed as of 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, the Katonah Fire Department announced.

A specific reason for the closure was not given. However, fire crews were seen operating in the area in photos released by the department on social media.
