Film and Conversation: 7 p.m. The North Castle Public Library in Armonk will host a free film and conversation session with Pace University professor Valerie Franco. The film being shown is “The Band’s Visit.” 19 Whippoorwill Road E., Armonk.

Saturday, Sept. 8

Drop-In Kids Crafts: 11 a.m. The North White Plains branch of the North Castle Public Library will host a free craft program for children. 10 Clove Road, North White Plains.

Herbal Health Program: Noon. Join herbalist Clare Pierson for a class at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture on making immune-boosting infusions and supplements using herbs and natural ingredients. 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

Sunday, Sept. 9

Introduction to Baby-Sitting: Noon. The North Castle Public Library in Armonk will host a free certification course on baby-sitting. The class will run for about four hours. 19 Whippoorwill Road E., Armonk.
