Long Island University professor Valerie Franco will lead the discussion of the film.
The following is a synopsis of the film from the North Castle Public Library:
"This sweet Korean comedy about a seven-year old city boy's transition to life with his aged grandmother in her small, quiet village. This winner of Korea's Oscar equivalent looks at the difference between generations, gender and location in a modern world where love really can conquer all things. In Korean with English subtitles."
The next film in the series will be the 2003 film "Better Luck Tomorrow" at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.
