One of the nation's most expensive tolls -- on one of its busiest vehicle crossings -- rose again on Sunday, Dec. 6.
E-ZPass for passenger vehicles goes to $12.50 from $11.75 during peak hours and to $10.50 from $9.75 off-peak.
Motorcycles with E-ZPass go to $11.50 from $10.75 during peak hours and to $9.50 from $8.75 off-peak.
Truckers are taking the biggest hit, though.
Drivers of five-axle tractor-trailers will pay $10 more in cash (to $105 from $95). E-Z Pass tolls also went up $10 -- to $90 during peak hours and $85 off-peak.
Small trucks go to $42 from $38 in cash. E-Z Pass peak is now $36 (from $32) and $34 off-peak (from $30).

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says that the toll hikes at all of its interstate bridges and tunnels will increase revenue by $123 million next year to help fund $3.5 billion worth of major construction projects.
Nearly $1 billion of that money will go toward completing the World Trade Center complex. Another $15 million is for a new midtown Manhattan bus terminal. And more than $460 million is targeted for rebuilding a terminal at LaGuardia Airport in Queens.
The Port Authority says this is the last of the hikes -- for now, anyway -- that began four years ago. The new fares:
Passenger $10.50 (E-ZPass off-peak) $12.50 (E-ZPass peak) $15 (cash)
Motorcycles $9.50 (E-ZPass off-peak) $11.50 (E-ZPass peak) $15 (cash)
Small trucks $34 (E-ZPass off-peak) $36 (E-ZPass peak) $42 (cash)
Tractor-trailers $85 (E-ZPass off-peak) $90 (E-ZPass peak) $105 (cash)
