The Granola Bar, a Fairfield County-based eatery with locations in Westport, Greenwich, and Stamford, is expanding to Westchester with a new spot in Armonk.

The location, set to open later this month at 575 Main St., is hiring now. Send applications to lexi@thegranolabarct.com.

The Granola Bar is also opening at 96 Purchase Street in Rye in mid to late September.

Fans of the restaurant know it for its freshly made eggs, avocado toast, sandwiches, wraps, salads, gourmet coffee and, of course, granola. It was started by Westport moms Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily. The two admit they "Thelma and Louise'd" it when they opened in Westport in December 2013.

Said Moutain: "At the time we were two mothers who just wanted a healthy place to eat and have good coffee."
