WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Every Westchester County business seeks growth in the months and years ahead. One of the best ways to generate attention is by attending the Westchester Business Expo, scheduled for Thursday, March 17, at the Hilton Westchester.

“The Westchester Business Expo is the most anticipated trade show in the Hudson Valley,’’ said Amanda DePalma, Director of Special Events for the Business Council of Westchester, which hosts the event. “This is an unparalleled opportunity to maximize business growth in just four hours, and exhibitors receive special benefits.”

The Expo will kick off at 12 p.m. with Keynote Speaker Lorraine Santoli, former Director of Corporate Synergy at The Walt Disney Company. Exhibitor and Sampler Booths will be open from 1-5 p.m.

Business people who register to attend before Tuesday, March 15 will be entered for a chance to win a Herman Miller Aeron chair, valued at more than $500. The chair is courtesy of Alianza Office Furniture.

The Expo attracts more than 1,500 business professionals and decision makers. It is the biggest networking event in Westchester County.

“It’s a wonderful place to network and get a footprint in Westchester County,’’ a Con Edison spokesperson said in a Business Council of Westchester video. “The business community we find to be very embracing and the diversity we see out here. We’re very glad to be here and be a part of. If you’ve never been here, I’d say put it on your calendar and check it out. It’s a great opportunity for yourself and even friends that you know who may be business owners.”

“By being at the Expo, we’ve gained a feel for how large the business community is in Westchester,’’ said Michael Murphy of Murphy Brothers Contracting. “Sometimes you don’t get to see it. You’re in your own little industry. We see that there are so many wonderful businesses in Westchester. This is a great place to meet them.”

Besides networking, exhibitors and attendees can:

  • See numerous companies and new products at one time
  • Meet new resources
  • Get ideas and find answers to current challenges
  • Expand your company's business opportunities and help increase your bottom line
  • Discover new companies and suppliers
  • Sample amazing food and beverage
  • Network with colleagues and/or vendors
Tickets can be purchased online for $20 and will be available at the door for $25. o register to attend visit www.thebcw.org. For more information, visit the Expo website at http://www.wbxpo.com/index.php.
