Each year, the NYC DOT designates Gridlock Alert Days, which mark some of the busiest traffic and travel days on the calendar. Driver Charged With DWI After Slamming Into Car On Route 59 ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  The driver of a 2012 Mustang who slammed into the rear of another vehicle Sunday morning on Route 59 in Rockland has been charged with DWI. Ramapo police responded to the crash in the early morning hours on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found the unidentified driver of the Mustang had read-ended a 2006 Chevrolet, police said. After hitting the Chevrolet, the Mustang left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled over, finally landing back on its wheels, police said. The driver was arrested and charged with DWI along with other vehicle and traffic laws.

Solange Lopez was hit around 10 a.m. Friday by a 2010 Dodge Ram at the intersection of South Greenbush Road and Bradley Parkway.
