A 28-year-old New Milford man who had worked as a security guard at Paterson Eastside High School was charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student in the borough. Everald Palmer, 28, remained held in the Bergen County Jail on Friday, Feb. 17, following a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on charges of sexual assault by a supervisory adult and child endangerment. Drowned Paterson Teen Had Bright Future Ahead, Those Who Knew Him Say
Naz'ier Randolph had more to accomplish, those who knew him say. The 15-year-old Paterson boy drowned last weekend while swimming with friends in the area of the Great Notch Reservoir off Old Rifle Camp Road on Garrett Mountain. His body was recovered Sunday morning, leaving his friends and loved ones in a state of disbelief. 9 Paterson Students Suspended For Posting Porn, Threatening Teachers On Zoom
Nine Paterson students were suspended for posting porn and threatening teachers during online classes they weren't even enrolled in, district officials said. The students entered remote classes through Zoom links provided by their peers during the first week of remote learning, NorthJersey.com first reported.
