Two Paterson Firefighters Assaulted By Patient PATERSON, N.J. -- Two Paterson firemen who were working as EMTs were assaulted Thursday when the man they were treating suddenly work up and started punching them, Northjersey.com reported They had been dispatched to 19 Walker St. early in the morning on a report of someone unconscious. Daibes, speaking before the sentencings, told Superior Court Judge Edward A. Jerejian that the plea-bargained terms weren't enough. Armory Set For Demolition After Fire In Paterson PATERSON, N.J. -- The Paterson Armory must be demolished following a seven-alarm fire that raged for more than 10 hours yesterday, Nj.com reported.  Fire officials said although the building still was standing by late afternoon, there was no way to put out the fire without knocking it down, Nj.com reported.
