Wyckoff Slips In Rankings Of 100 Safest U.S. Cities

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Wyckoff plummeted this year in the ranking of the 100 Safest Cities in the U.S. by a national security company.

Wyckoff is listed at No. 64 by Safewise.com after ranking No. 29 last year.

The Wyckoff Municipal Alliance "upholds high standards for its community by working hard to eliminate drug and alcohol abuse" and "works with parents and other residents to educate on substance abuse and give tips on how people can talk to loved ones about their potential problems," the website wrote.

Safewise compiled crime statistics from the FBI and conducted its own research on public safety public health, and educational offerings to determine its rankings.
