Vera Krumm, 91, Wyckoff Resident

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Wyckoff resident Vera Krumm died Tuesday, May 10. She was 91.

Born and raised in New York City, Krumm attended Julia Richman High School in Manhattan and graduated from Hawthorne High School. 

She graduated from William Paterson College in 1969 and worked for many years in New York City and Paterson. 

Krumm taught English at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale for 17 years, until she retired. 

She also was one of the founding members of the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park. 

She is survived by her sons, Robert and Richard and his wife Rosario; granddaughter Alexandra Krumm; and many nieces and nephews. 

Krumm was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2004; and her son, Jeffery in 2007. 

Visiting hours are from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. 

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday at the funeral home. 

Interment will be private for the family.
